Ok I’ve been having thoughts about the Owl House again, more specifically about King. I’ve seen a lot of people headcanon that King would get involved with bard magic as he gets older which I absolutely love! I was playing around with the idea a little myself, thinking about what instrument he would have and such. I personally think he would have a brass instrument, because of his sound powers.
So I thought he might use a trumpet because that seems a cute enough instrument. And THEN I mistakenly thought that trumpets have four valves. Usually they only have three, BUT some do have four. And then I thought what else comes in four? Glyphs!
So now I have this headcanon that King and Raine manage to connect his glyphs each to a different valve so if he were to make a single note a light spell or a bunch of flowers would come out. And then if he were to play a song it would be like a glyph combo. I dunno, I just think it’s cute.
