KING DOLAN a Dolan Twins FanFiction/Chapter 1
Chapter 1 The Arrangement
Princess Sophia's POV
"Good morning my princess. Would you like me to start you a bath?" I turned from my desk to see Flora, my maid, placing my breakfast on my bed. "Yes please," I responded, walking over to my bed and taking a sip of tea. "Flora?" I asked following her into the bathing room. "Yes, my princess? Would you like some bath salt today? Or?" She turned to look at me, "Are they still negotiating? I haven't been called to meet King Sean, is there something wrong?" She turned on the faucet letting it heat up for a warm bath. "My princess, your marriage is like, excuse me to say, but like a business partnering. Once both kings agree, they begin to divide the shipment route and so forth." "I see.... did Prince Grayson come as well?"
Prince Grayson was the only son of King Sean of Henridad. My father, the King of Dubol believed in creating a bigger market for spices and gold, so he sent out an arrangement asking King Sean to become the partner in trade routes, to do so, both kingdoms need a wedding. After a week, King Sean responded in agreement and today was the day they were both going to meet up and sign the royal document which stated both kingdoms were going to wed their eldest child together. As a princess, my duty is to do anything and everything to keep my kingdom out of the ruins. So, if I have to wed someone who I have never met, I will do it for my kingdom of Dubol.
"No, Prince Grayson did not join his father today. But, soon you two will meet." Flora replied. "I hope so, what do you know about the Kindom of Hendridad?" Flora turned off the faucet and place a handful of bath salts in the warm water. "Well, I heard it is very beautiful, more industrialized than ours, but still has its views. I will come back with your dress my Princess." "Thank you, again Flora." With those words, she disappeared and I began to enjoy my warm bath. All I could think was how did Prince Grayson look, was he older than me? What if he's younger than me? All these questions were getting me anxious.

Prince Grayson's POV
It had been a couple of hours since my father, the King, had left to the kingdom of Dubol to sign the royal agreement of my wedding with Princess Sophia. I myself do not want to get married, I am too young I don't even know how she looks like! All these old and stupid rules have controlled my life since I've been born and I'm tired of it. "This is so stupid!" I walked away from the large window that was facing the rose garden, turning around to see my mother standing there with an annoyed look.
"Why do you always have to go against what your father ask of you?" My mother asked. "Because he's asking for too much! I just turned eighteen! I am too young!" My mother let out an HA noise. "Too young? Honey, I had an arranged marriage place on me two days after I was born. I was married off at the age of seventeen. You have to remember my son, this wedding is not only affecting you but our kingdom as well. You want to become king right?" I nodded. "Then, you have to married to become King..... don't worry you're going to love her. I've heard she's as beautiful as the sun."

Princess Sophia's POV
After changing into the dress King Sean bought for me as an engagement gift, I let Flora and Denise, my mother's maid, help with my hair and makeup. "All done princess. Why don't you look at yourself in the mirror?" I smiled and walked over the long length mirror that was placed in the middle of my room. "You look as beautiful as the sun my princess." "Thank you, Denise, please announce to the Kings that I am on my way to the courtyard." With that order, I checked myself one more time in the mirror and headed to the courtyard where the Kings were celebrating with champagne.
"Oh my darling, you look lovely." My mother stated making both Kings turn to look at me, King Sean smiled. "King Sean this is my beautiful daughter Princess Sophia." "It's an honor to finally meet you Princess Sophia, my future daughter in law." "The pleasure is all mine, King Sean. I am delighted to hear that the arrangement went well." "So well we decided to make the wedding in three days." My father added. "The sooner the better!" King Sean replied. "How wonderful." Three days? Why so fast? Will I get a chance to even meet him before the wedding? I don't think I'm ready.
