bunch of ocs i wanted to share here cuz i think they're cool, been working on this world/story thingy for a long while , basically a story but everything is soooooo based on things and characters and events i've seen in my dreams since my dreams are so so vivid
the summary is basically these two human friends who get both stuck in the realm of subconciousness and dreams and they end up being on opposite sides . the Paladin got there first, being a person who wanna go home and actually benefit people around her while they're in the dreamworld anyways. and then the Dreamscaper who doesn't give two shits about going home, just needs that praise and attention and has this weird hero complex along with it all
also the dreamworld is full of mythology creatures and gods from books and ancient cultures (idk say, poseidon, zeus, hades, rah, seth, thor ect ect ect)
tldr in this story's setting itself they USED to have access on the wake world but not anymore, as they decided to just keep guiding or effecting through dreams . (they're not AS accurate to their actual mythology counterparts personality wise btw taking creative liberty with this one especially since my dreams portray things differently lol)
anyways sharing character designs i made so far for this! i'll talk about them each peroperly soon

Here I'm going to list all of the AU's I have for Chipjack. Will likely continue to update in the future as I think of more. :) Or change details.
Any AU listed in red will have harsher themes than usual, so please keep that in mind.
TV World: Reboot! (TV World AU)
In most verses, CJ would eventually want to wind back up at TV World anyway -- But this one is specific to him going to TV World directly after recovery rather than later on.
CJ runs a Family Entertainment Center (indoor amusement park) in TV World instead of Cyber City. He's back to working beside Tenna, though a little less directly. He runs the flashier game shows, stars in many plays and movies, and helps choreograph dance routines. He still runs a majority of advertising slots and coaches others on how to run their ads and parts in shows. He'll typically record a bunch of segments over 3 - 4 solid days that run for the next two to three weeks so he can split work between the Studio and the FEC. In this verse his suit is a royal blue instead of maroon.
His initial relationship with Tenna is quite rocky since he's on the opinion that he shouldn't have or deserves to be revived from near-death, and he feels as though he owes a debt to Tenna (he doesn't like feeling tied down). Much of him still cares very deeply for Tenna and even wants to help upgrade him so he can be apart of online streaming services to remain relevant.
This verse doesn't guarantee a ship with Tenna, but I'm definitely open to that. Polyshipping is also good. ✨
King Gambit AU ( Bad End / Defernull AU - TW: DEAD DOVE )
Instead of deciding to play nice and get along after recovery, Spamton (since he'd not yet picked the name Chipjack) opted to finally take what he wanted in his hands with this newfound power. He disables the Queen, takes down Swatch, and wrestles the EX Controller away from him to unlock his full power. He uses this to permanently kill the Queen and take over at Cyber City's new ruler, King Gambit.
This au is basically "evil CJ". The entire city is changed to to dark, sharper architecture and the blues, greens, and yellows become reds, oranges, and yellows. The city is always bright and flashy while simultaneously dark and grim, as everyone is forced to play games, data mine, and over sell much more aggressively. Because of the more demanding workload the city is always hot and muggy. The only fans are within the King's manor.
Since he has full power he can make as many copies of himself as he wants and transform freely into NEO or an even larger dragon named Trojan. The name is exactly what it implies -- a master virus that's capable of destroying everything. His copies roam the halls and even many of the streets of the city, primed to destroy or take over any program that dares speak against him. King Gambit has the ability to siphon the data out of a program and transform it into another copy of himself.
His corruption spreads outside of the city and turns the Cyber Fields into the Cyber Desert. the Cache Cliffs are turned back into a mining operation, forcing disobedient programs to work themselves to death getting the City more resources.
Depending on who writes with King Gambit, he has the potential to reform at some point down the line if he cares enough about them. Otherwise, expect heavy abuse, aggressive behavior, torture, murder, and other such heavy topics. NOT an AU for those that want a lighter or happier story.
The Cursed Puppet Man (Stardew Valley AU)

Light World AU (Jack of All Trades)
Before he came to Hometown, Jack was originally from a different city far off.... somewhere, I never decided which city. He was still a mafia don in this AU, having struggling from meager beginnings much in the same way as his Dark World parallel.
In this verse however, his own people turned against him and tried to kill him. He had just gotten well off with Tenna, running both his casinos and his TV segments with the pop star, and his family was jealous in getting less attention. After barely surviving, he didn't bother telling anyone. He turned himself in and spent the next 10 years in prison.
He would've been in for life, but he anonymously worked with the police force and other agencies in tracking down all his people and getting them taken care of. So he was let out early, and put in the witness protection program. He was then shipped off to Hometown, and his original city had spread the news of his 'death' to avoid anyone tracking him down.
His previous name was erased and he was given the name Jack. Only Mayor Carol and Undyne know of his past, and neither entirely trusts him. Carol decides to keep him busy as the town's handyman. He can be found doing any odd job at any corner. Maintenance? Jack. Plumbing? Jack. Pools and ponds? Jack. Mild construction? Jack.
He was given an old cabin that had been unused in the far northern woods above the lake as his home. He generally keeps to himself and comes off as cold and unapproachable, but never turns down helping someone out if he has the time. He is never cruel or aggressive towards any of the children -- aside from maybe telling them to fuck off when they try to mess with his cabin. Spreading rumors that he's some sort of cryptid.
Unknown to Jack until just after he moves to Hometown -- He is a monster/human hybrid. His entire life he believed himself to be entirely human. He eventually learns that his mother was a monster, and the "mother" he was raised by was actually his step mother (a human). Once he comes into contact with a magical artifact, the magical spell put on him as a child to suppress the monster genes is broken and he begins his transformation. Eventually growing into feathers were hair would be, and wings.
DREAM SWEET IN DEEP SEA MAJOR CONTENT LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
ok Nuxululatus lore , , a hare who's a priest who used to worship the sun at somepoint but once he stopped and made a deal with Gambit the sun god cursed him to never wonder in the sun without a protective spell or he would perish.
soooo Nux ,at somepoint, was a normal hare but he was heavy on worshipping the sun like rabbits and hares do .(or well, whatever is the equivalent of the sun is in the dreamworld, maybe like the sunlight effect when you're sleeping idk) at somepoint things happened and he got challenged to a race with the turtle king , who's like, this dude from an ancient tribe living in an island, and the island is like...a whale with an island on it's back lol nux wanted to win so bad, for no reason but their ego and in a way proving himself to the sun so maybe he'll get a higher position. and through that want King Gambit started whispering to him some evil thoughts and ultimately talking to him face to face , in the form of the morning star . convincing him to be allies. Nux gets to win, but he'll be obliged to always worship Gambit and so nux won but the sun cursed him to have black fur, sharp teeth and claws and cursing him to never step an inch in the light without any protection or else he'll turn to dust.
Nuxululatus ended up becoming a priest of sort, switched from worshipping the sun to worshipping gambit and being one of his minions.
also interducing yet another character in this lil project
basically one my most favourite characters that ever appeared in my dreams ever many years ago
the skeleton king , who wanted to destroy a oasis city but was literally beaten up by a shapeshifter and Dreamscaper( before she started actually being this knight or whatever, back when he was kinda good but looked after the praise. they got so much praise and it boosted their ego but also led them back again right into Gambit's claws ) . after his defeat he came back again to do the SAME thing and paladin stopped him but not through beating his ass, she literally talked to him because he's basically a skeletor/papyrus mix of personality. and he has a redemption arc.
he's like this pinpoint of "why dreamscaper and paladin are so different "
