I know I don’t even post much but just for peace of mind I finally gave my babies proper nouns

Rey say alone in her room; overlooking the small meadow that was just outside her window. She had written a letter to the King; giving him her answer. She would agree to become to his Queen Consort. He had someone deliver a small but brief message stating that he would be arriving to claim his prize within a few days time.

As she turned to look at the small pile of clothes lying in the bottom of her trunk she wondered if she would ever need them again after today. More importantly, she wondered if she would ever get to see her family after she was married.

“Not having cold feet are you?” Jyn asked as she sat down next to her older sister. Rey shook her head; wiping a cheerful tear away from her face.

“No. I was just thinking...after I’ve gone to London; what’s going to happen to you, Padme, mama and papa and my brothers?”

”Well I do hope you plan on allowing us to visit?” said Jyn with a hopeful smile. “I mean, I think we deserve to see our sister every now and again even if she Queen.”

Rey playfully slapped her sister on the hand and then added as she took hold of it and; gripping it so tightly. “Mother says after I’ve been crowned, I’ll be able to choose good suitable men for you and Padme to marry. It’ll be...one of the many rights that I have she says.”

“Only if your husband agrees with them.” Jyn quickly added, but she hated keeping the tone of this conversation such a serious one so she flung her arms around her sister and squeezed her tightly while declaring at the top of her lungs. "So you had better choose a good one for me!"

"I shall do my upmost." said Rey with a weak smile; though she wished she could have at least appeared to have been braver in front of her sister. I should be happy; ecstatic even! I'm about to embark on a journey that might at first seem quite peril-less for a girl of my stature, but I have the chance to change the course of history, my family's name. Something inside me....has always been there and now it's awake and I'm afraid.

"Perhaps you could put in a good word for me or Padme on Prince Kylo." Jyn teased. Upon hearing this Rey snapped out of her reverie and turned immediately to her youngest sister with an alarming look upon her face. Had she gone completely mental?!

"He is twice your age, Jyn! And you are only fifteen years old!"

"Almost sixteen!" Jyn protested as she folded her arms; pouting as if she were a child who was been scolded. "Most girls my age are already married off and have children of their own! Besides, I should think Prince Kylo was in want of a wife."

"If he was interested, Jyn, I'm more than certain he would have called upon you." said Rey; trying not to sound too disheartening. She was like every girl in the world; young and hoping to fall in love with a prince who would sweep her off her feet and take her away to his castle. What she failed to understand was--life was not what you heard or read about in stories. Men were not always as kind and love was almost foolish.

"He still could!" said Jyn; clasping her hands together and muttering a prayer that Rey could not make out. She then kissed her sister on the cheek and scurried out of the room; leaving Rey alone once more. Childish! So childish and naive! And Padme was no better. It was practically all just a silly game to them; marriage.

"You would take the word of a woman--a scavenger no less on her information concerning Unkar Plutt?" Han asked; eyeing his son with mild curiosity. He had seen his son display this sort of irrational behavior before---words driven by a woman and a beautiful one at that. Whatever happened to the promise of by the grace of your training, father, I will not be seduced? What of that, hmm?!

"Father, why not consider looking into it? The people living under Unkar Plutt are practically starving." said Ben calmly. "If we are to protect our people and keep this safe---"

"It is not of your concern what the nobles do to the people as long as they pay their taxes." said Han irritably as he took his seat at the head of the table staring down at the maps that he had been given by Captain Dameron. "We have enough problems as it is with Spain--do not bring another issue into this because of one lousy nobleman who treats his villagers they way they ought to be treated."

"They were attacked, father by King's Phillip's men!" Ben shouted angrily. "How many more people have to die before you take action?! You would rather do nothing and let these nobleman have our people slaughtered like dogs than see to it that they are protected from our enemies?! Well, quite frankly, father it will be your fault if our kingdom does come to ruin!"
