After that very frustrating cliffhanger ending from King Cave, I wasn't sure what to expect in this follow up novel. But once again our author does not fail to deliver. Even though time has passed and our favorite characters are now older and wiser they still exhibit that spark that made us fall in love with them in the first place. I loved seeing the new dynamics and how time / memory loss affected everyone's actions. Of course there were even a few curveballs thrown at us throughout the story that made me pause and re-read the page to make sure I read it correctly. I was definitely surprised by those events. I feel like any book that is able to catch me off guard with surprises automatically makes it onto my favorites list. The only complaint I would have about this fantastic closing to the "King" part of the Forever Evermore Series is that I feel the ending was a little rushed. We didn't get very much time to see how the characters absorbed everything that happened in the entire book. But other than that I think it was absolutely fantastic and I would definitely recommend that others experience the world and the journey behind this amazing series.
