He’s not the Asgore that killed you. He’s not, he’s not, he’s not the Asgore that killed you, Dolores keeps repeating in her head. Still, she grits her teeth and tightens her fists, staring the boss monster down with a piercing yellow glare. The last Asgore she seen, her Asgore (no, she doesn’t want him, he’s hers in the sense he shares her timeline, he’s no king or friend of hers), she barely had the time for platitudes and questions when she was trying to kill the king-- But now that king is no more. In her timeline, he’s just-- Gone, disappeared, along with that damned flower and that familiar child that reeked of monster candy and determination.
She can’t go dusting a double in a different timeline. Maybe now’s the time to ask questions first and shoot later. All the questions she never got answers from.
“Why did you kill those children?”
