“Eh? You’ve never made anything before?” David was surprised. He did not know a terrible amount about Altera, but from what he did know, he supposed she likely didn’t have much time to practice baking while she was alive. Too busy conquering.
“Well… Making chocolate isn’t that hard! If you buy it premade and just melt it, you can reshape it into a mold and make it look however you want! It doesn’t have to be all that intricate. When it comes to tokens of affection, it’s the thought that counts.” After all, it took a very creative mind to come up with a meaningful gift without emptying the pockets. “If you’d like, I could help you. I know where we could get molds, and there’s plenty of unused chocolate lying around. Once you get the hang of it, it’s not too difficult!”
⚔ It didn’t have to be perfect? That caught Altera’s attention. Could she just... no, that wouldn’t be nice. Master wouldn’t like that. She had considered just taking chocolate from another Servant to give to Master, since it was the thought that counts, but she had an inkling that Master would not like her bullying the other Servants again.
If Archer would help her, she would be a fool to deny his assistance. She nodded once.
“You will help me make chocolate now,” she answered him. Hopefully Archer wasn’t intending on doing anything else with his afternoon, because Altera was about to take his day from him.
