"Jings, crivens, help ma boab.." Merida cursed under her breath as wet snow found its way into her boots. All around the land was glistening white, bitter and cold. Merida hated the chilly weather, yet she pressed on, in search of elderberries for the three flu-sick brothers she had waiting for her back home.
"Ah-HA! Yuh beauty!" she cheered, finally catching sight of the berry bushes. She stumbled her way towards them and began picking; that is until she heard the sound of twigs snapping behind her.
"Who's there?"
