Avm royalty au where it follows of “two rival kingdoms join together in peace because of a relationship between the royal families” except the relationship is found family instead of romance (with purple and King!)

King’s kingdom is peaceful for the most part, but his son is deathly ill, and his wife is nowhere to be found.

Purple’s kingdom is chaotic and lives under the tyrannical rule of king navy.

Purple runs away (or fakes his own death, either could work) and seeks asylum in King’s kingdom
