I know I’m not like a big name in the Kfam community, and I’ve never been very involved in general, but given all the recent events I do have to say I’m disappointed in the creators.

Being able to accept criticism or even just like acknowledge it without claiming it’s bullying or harassment is a really important part of being a creator, and the fact that the kfam crew aren’t able to do this is extremely problematic.

This show definitely has a history of some tropes and stereotypes that really don’t sit well (Walt, the Banshee episode, etc), and while I understand that people make mistakes, being willing to own up to them and grow from them is important, especially for a show that supposedly aims to cultivate a positive fan base.

I’m disappointed, to be completely honest, and I’m not sure if I’ll really be able to enjoy the show after seeing the way that the creators have treated all of the people who (very politely!) have pointed out their insensitivities and flaws in the hopes that they may grow to become a more inclusive community.
