सरकारी बैंकों का हजारों करोड़ रुपया लेकर फरार विजय माल्या ने कहा, ‘इन्हीं बैंकों ने बेहतर कर्मचारियों और संपर्क सुविधा वाली देश की सबसे बेहतरीन एयरलाइंस के मामले में ऐसा नहीं किया और उसे बर्बाद होने के लिए छोड़ दिया. यह मोदी सरकार का दोहरा मापदंड है’ माल्या ने यह दावा किया कि ‘मैंने किंगफिशर एयरलाइंस और उसके कर्मचारियों को बचाने के लिए कंपनी में चार हजार करोड़ रुपए का निवेश किया.’ उसने किंगफिशर और जेट एयरवेज के मामले में अलग-अलग बर्ताव करने के लिए बीजेपी की निंदा की.

भगोड़े शराब कारोबारी ने कहा, ‘बीजेपी के प्रवक्ता ने तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह को भेजे मेरे पत्रों को जोर-शोर से उठाया और आरोप लगाया कि युपीए सरकार में सरकारी बैंकों ने किंगफिशर एयरलाइंस की गलत तरीके से मदद की.’

वित्तीय संकट का सामना कर रही जेट एयरवेज को बचाने के लिए एसबीआई की अगुआई में बैंकों द्वारा कंपनी का प्रबंधन अपने हाथों में लेने के बाद माल्या ने इस पर एक के बाद एक कई ट्वीट किया. माल्या ने कहा, ‘मेरी इच्छा थी कि किंगफिशर के लिए भी ऐसा ही किया जाता.

माल्या ने कहा, ‘मीडिया ने मुझे मौजूदा प्रधानमंत्री के लिए लिखने के लिए उकसाया है. मुझे हैरानी है कि वर्तमान एनडीए सरकार में क्या बदल गया. इसके अलावा माल्या ने अपनी संपत्तियों के जरिए बैंकों के बकाए का भुगतान करने की एक बार फिर पेशकश की. माल्या ने कहा, ‘मैं फिर से दोहराता हूं कि मैंने सरकारी बैंकों और अन्य कर्जदाताओं का बकाया चुकाने के लिए माननीय कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट के सामने अपनी चल संपत्ति रखी है. बैंक पैसा क्यों नहीं ले रहे हैं. इससे कुछ और नहीं तो कम से कम जेट एयरवेज को बचाने में मदद मिलेगी.’

Request to extradite Mallya certified by UK’s secy of state.

The United Kingdom (UK) has informed India that the request for extraditing liquor baron Vijay Mallya, declared as a proclaimed offender in a loan default case, has been approved by the UK’s secretary of state.

“The UK Home Department on February 21 conveyed that the request of India for extradition of Mallya has been certified by the secretary of state and sent to the Westminster Magistrates' Court for a district judge to consider the issue of releasing of warrant," said Gopal Baglay, Spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs.

This latest development is a major step ahead towards extraditing the fugitive industrialist, who is wanted in India in a loan default case of more than Rs.9,000 crore.
