[2of3] Then came 2016, while playing football, I tweaked something in my foot. The X-Ray from my ER visit, made the doctor ask when I broke my foot. "Broke my foot?" I responded. He then showed me the old break on the X-Ray. Which must have been what happened back in 2002 when I avoided the hospital. He placed me in a boot for a month and things were normal again until last week. While running around with #KingLierre & #KingLandonBennett (on uneven playground soil) I tweaked it again. But didn't realize it until the next morning (Last Thursday) while headed to Atlanta for a 1-day trip/meeting. The constant walking from parking lots and through terminals and so on... forced me back to the hospital that night when I landed back in NY. A celebration of life. . Mom... thank you for everything. You've been a nurturer, educator, protector, loan officer 😬, chef, nurse, inn-keeper, creative consultant, personal assistant, baby sitter, source of discernment regarding "friends" and situations, comedienne, house keeper, drill sergeant, culinary instructor, touchdown shadow (Yes guys, Imagine being age 7-12 and while you're running for a break out touchdown, you look over and your mom is running down the sideline with you 😆😆😆 | Go @brooklynskyhawks ), accountant, taxi driver, and now 1/4th of the G-Unit for #KingLierre & #KingLandonBennett and on and on and on... . [3of3] Seasons- ...and in each Season, I would grow a passion for certain things and a distaste for others. As my wife and I are remodeling a space in our home as our new studio, and a certain passion is starting to resurface, I am yielding to what's happening internally. And I also know that what was learned in Seasons prior, should be applied to the Season in which I/we are about to enter. AND it all should absolutely be aimed at adding value to the current climate and the needs of our people. I'm just thankful for the time of stillness. [2of3] Seasons- ...and the context of Seasons. Take the #Bible for example. If you read the Bible without know what set of rules or directions are for which group of people and during which time and in which geographic location, etc... you can have zero context and totally misread what you're looking at. The same goes with life. And your Season/Time/Context should dictate your choices. There was a Season in which my role was to be a creator yet student. There was a Season in which my role was to help children.
