Earliest form of tech!!?
Over the past few days, I’ve gathered the four major components that make the “golden dynasty” golden!
Increased trade
Military campaigns
Many building projects
Securing central rule over Egypt
However, coming to these four advancements was not entirely easy. Considering that this is the very first dynasty of Egypt, they weren’t as smart as the following dynasties. We travelled back to 3100 BCE! The most common technologies and achievements of this era were small but effective. For example, many slaves used small hand-held tools to sculpt or pick stone. After achieving a state of equality in Egypt, a lot of villagers relied on hobby-making to pass the time.
Here are the most commonly used tools. They are made from wood, stone, or metals.
The other day, we ran across the villagers we had first met on the day we arrived in Memphis - the capital city. They looked different... I could not help but notice the exhaustion and sweat covering their entire bodies! I asked what was going on and they pointed to the large grouping down by the river. The king had announced the building of a new temple. As I was conversing with the men, things had started to click in my head. A reason why this kingdom has so much order is that they have peace! Meaning that Egypt has political stability and a well working civilization! When peace is acquired, it seems like you can literally do anything you want. However, if we had travelled any sooner in time, we may have seen some pretty crappy situations!
A monument in the middle of construction!
