She was still slightly shaking as Kara raced up the docks in front of her mixed in with the soldiers that had been on the ship with them. Svala had never thought a simple training session such as that would be a risk on her daughter’s life. Kara thought it was exciting seeing her mother stand off against pirates, and brave beyond measure. She was going to brag about it, going to tell Erik about it. Svala was slightly worried for his reaction to their youngest daughter being so close to danger. Especially knowing that most of the soldiers she had on the ship were unarmed, she was barely armed herself.
She followed in to the palace after Kara a smile on her face as she raced to find Erik and tell him everything. She loved to see the excitement in her daughter’s eyes. They shared that in the face of danger, the spark of excitement and the wild look in their blue eyes.

I believe Freya might have been there with her.” Svala’s brows raised at the elaborate and she shook her head. Still wearing the blue tunic and pants she had been wearing during the training, but there was a slight worry in her eye as she met her husbands, how would he react to their young daughter -who had only heard story of battles and thought it the greatest achievement anyone could have - being so close to danger. // @falsekingdoms
