I love writing. At a certain point with these Instagram posts for me, it became less about the art and more just about the writing. I feel like when I write, and I write, and I write some more, I'm able to understand how to articulate my thoughts. I usually don't do it through Instagram though. I write most of my thoughts down in a black book that I can carry around in my pocket. I won't even read it afterwards. I just write for sometimes an hour at a time. I'll write about how to approach my relationship with money, with people, with sex, with race, with ... Thinking.. existence, choice. I'll write about what's appropriate in certain situations. I'll delve into the meaning of art, or the meaning of meaning. Most of my writing and most of my sketches never reach the world. It remains private.
