Meeting the King [Closed roleplay with king-vessel]
Was this land always this hot? She wouldn't know it any sooner.
The streets seemed full, still. With such a warm weather it was to be expected the opposit, but this seemed like a habit for the sindrian citizens. And the blonde, be it many times as she would come here, would never get used to it. Specially when walking around in that long, sleeveless, white dress, typical from her land, Reim.
Her face was already dropping some small drips of water, the noticeable sweat on her expression, as she paced through those endless streets, occasionaly passing her handkerchief on her pale visage, now with slight hints of red, from the heat. But she wouldn't give up. She had come specially to achieve that new information she needed. And she just knew where to find it.
Yamuraiha had told her about those archives, and she hoped to not get lost and go through the wrong streets, and corners, or ending up on a dead end. She wasn't the best with directions, to begin with, so she had to be extra carefull with this.
Though, as usual, what bothered her more, wasn't that, but the fact that, as always, her appearance would seem too noticeable, specially for the male audience. She was a bit used to this, but she would never appreciate it that much. She prefered to be admired by her personality, and not by her looks. So, she kept on walking, ignoring it fairly.
After some minutes, she finally sighted the palace, and its long stairway. Just to look at the stairway, it seemed a bit agonizing to just climb it. But she needed to do this, so she started climbing them, one pace after another, carefully carrying her books along, between her arms. When she finally made it to the end of the stairway, she had to stop a bit to breath. Boy, this sure was exhausting!
Once recovered, she turned her back around. She had no trouble at finding the palace, from how flashy it was, but...what about that said room she needed now?... It would be troublesome to find it with so many similar halls!
She walked slowly for a bit, looking around, trying to see some kind of hint to it. But nothing. Guess so, because such a room should be well hidden, in order to not leak information to unwanted guests.
She stopped for a bit, in the middle of the hall, trying to think.
(If I were a secret library, where would I be?)
Though, she didn't have time to think much, as a bigger shadow approached her, in surprise, from behind, ...and provoked her a scare, enough to make her jump backwards.
