"So where are you even going anyways? If I'm following you and all..." ~spidersredstrings
"Nowhere in particular… I’m just kind of going wherever the road takes me." He shrugged and kept his steps even as he walked, hands behind his head. "I just want to see the world and learn as much as I can about it. That’s my ultimate goal." He smiled and looked over at the other. "So… let’s stop for a second. I have a map of the area… not a good one, since it’s a little outdated… but… you can pick the first stop."
"You’re pointless" he sighed. A mix between shock and annoyance crossed the youngers features when he was suddenly lifted up. "What the hell are you doing!?" he snapped, resisting the urge to kick him. "The only dangerous thing here is the knife I’m gonna shove up your ass!" he spat. He then growled again, but didn’t do anything. He calmed himself down and let out a barely audible sigh. "Fine" he mumbled.
"And yet you’re the one stuck with me." He laughed, and shifted the other on his shoulders. He didn’t seem to mind the threats and everything, just waiting for the other to calm down from the suddenness of it. "Better now?" He asked, looking up at the younger while he walked down the path. He didn’t seem to care about getting hurt at all himself, but he did care about the safety of others. "See… this way, you have those strings… you can see where people are coming from easier, and if they do try to attack, you can see it and get away easier. I don’t really care about myself… but I know I won’t die here… or anytime soon."
"Ah yes thank you for that wonderful pool of wisdom" he sighed quietly. This person was to nice, to friendly, Ja'far couldn't understand him at all. How could someone even be that nice? All nice got you was killed in this world. Yet thats all he seemed to be, was a big pile of nice. It was kind of disturbing. "I'm only with you because I try to keep my word" he growled. "I promise to accompany you for awhile, then I'll kill you and return to my people"
