What’s the difference between all three types of consent kinks? CNC, dubcon, and noncon :)
CNC refers to consensual non-consent, which is where a person pretends not to consent to something, often as part of a roleplay scene. Generally they will have a safeword established, and there might be some form of negotiation beforehand or aftercare afterwards.
Dubcon and noncon both refer to situations which would generally not be considered consensual in real life. Noncon refers to straightforwardly non consensual sex. Dubcon tends to refer to situations where a character can't technically consent due to outside forces (e.g. sex pollen, alcohol, being in heat), but despite the lack of consent, the character will often have positive feelings about the sex.
