James and Kinkade Headcannons

They do not hide their relationship, like at all. But nobody other than the rest of their team knows they're dating because they don't like PDA all that much

Although you'll see them plastered together on the couch watching reruns of old sitcoms like the young and the restless and days of our lives

Kinkade is very quiet about their whole relationship thing but if someone asks he'll get all flustered and then everyone just knows.

James and Keith's weird rivalry amuses Kinkade to no end, just because it's barely a rivalry on either part but everyone keeps calling it a rivalry.

That one time Kinkade had a really bad flu and James was nursing him back to health and losing his mind because oh my god why is he talking so much about garden gnomes

After James finds out Kinkade's mom used to have a huge garden with all these weird little ceramic gnomes and he named every single one as a kid and they always remind him of home

They've switched partners on missions so many times to be together that Iverson has just started pairing them up because fuck it they work well together

James can read Kinkade like a book, he's so finely tuned to his boyfriend's emotions that if Kinkade chooses a different yogurt flavour than normal James is like he stubbed his toe this morning he needs something sweet and the rest of the team is so weirded out by it

Maybe I'll do more, idk.
