1. What was the last book you read?

I wish I could say The Bell Jar, but I haven't finished it yet, so it's still Anna Karenina, even though I finished that a while ago.

2. What’s your favorite quote?

This is from The Idiot, and I made myself a little poster of it because I liked it so much:

"What loving mother, for example, would not be dismayed and sick with fright if her son or daughter should deviate a fraction from the rails: 'No, better if he's happy and has a comfortable life, and no originality', is what every mother thinks as she rocks her infant."

3. How has your day been?

Sweaty! I was painting in a hot hot house, and then after all that was over I had to wait for the shopping shuttle to take me to the store. And on the way back one of my bags got a hole and my jar of roasted peppers fell out and broke :( Other than that, pretty okay. I woke up earlier than my alarm and played some Phoenix Wright. A good start to a day.

4. If you had all the money you could ever imagine, what would you do with it?

ALL the money??? First I would stow away enough to pay for my college loans, a house, a car, etc. -- basically enough for me to be financially stable for my whole life (so then my career choice wouldn't have to factor in the paycheck). Of course I would give some money to my family: retirement money for my parents, college money for my brothers. Some money for my friends, so they can have some fun. With most of the rest of my money, I would pick a few charities and make annual donations. And finally, I would cosplay everyone I've ever wanted to. I would do it.

5. What type of electronic do you usually use for Tumblr?

Usually just my computer. The phone app is usually so slow for me, and I'm basically always around my laptop.

6. What is your OTP?

This probably changes as I move from fandom to fandom, but since you're asking now, I've got to say Destiel. With other ships of mine (I'm looking at you, Johnlock), I love them together, but I could also see them as just very close friends and I'd be totally happy with it. For Dean and Cas, that just not what I see happening there. Especially with Human!Cas, there are going to be feelings everywhere, not that feelings weren't everywhere already. I can't fit a whole manifesto into this, so let me just say that this amazing love story had better pan out, if only just a little, in canon.

7. If you could travel to an AU where a fandom is real, what one would you choose?

Probably the His Dark Materials verse, because if I said something like Harry Potter, I would probably just be a Muggle and nothing would really be different except Voldemort would be attacking cities. Having a daemon has always seemed like the coolest thing. THE COOLEST. Animorphs would also be cool if I could guarantee that I was an animorph; I would want to go scuba diving and touch a whale and then I could be A FUCKING HUGE WHALE. Don't tell me that wouldn't be cool. 

8. Who is your favorite fictional character, and why?

Oh jeez wow what a tough question. I usually don't have one favorite, because I can't really pick, and so I just have a bunch of favorite. My favorites are usually girls/women who don't give a fuck about gender roles and will kick your ass, so there's that trend... if there's a character like that in a show, chances are she's my favorite. Wait nevermind, I know who it is. Anya from Buffy. Definitely my favorite character ever. The first time I watched Buffy, I was annoyed by her, but the second time through I was totally in love. She's just funny and knows what she wants and doesn't understand humans and is the best.

9. If you could go to a different time era, when would it be?

Time travelling to see a dinosaur has always been a crazy fantasy of mine, because holy shit they are huge and no one has ever actually seen them and can you even imagine standing next to one, I would cry. So probably the late Cretaceous era, bc that's where the most recognizable dinos are from, and mammals are starting to do their thing, and one of my favorite water reptiles was alive during that time too, so even though I would probably die in like 5 days, it would be totally worth it.

10. Why did you get a Tumblr?

Some of my friends were always spending their time on tumblr, and I was like 'hmmm what is this thing, maybe I should get one, but I'll probably never use it.' Ha ha ha.

11. What’s your BROTP?

Karkat and Kanaya. idc if it's not really canon, I just want them being friends forever and sharing their problems and being fashionable together.
