Kinnie Starr (Canadian/Mohawk singer-songwriter) has been accused of race-faking, and it's just like... the "anonymous source" that wrote the article fully concedes that KS was probably raised Mohawk... and then chastises her for not verifying her father's claim of Indigeneity.

And it's just like... I simply cannot see this claim of race-faking being made in good faith. I really cannot!

(Something that popped into my mind as I was writing this post: KS has said she had been dealing with a stalker. Going through someone's family history with great assiduity in order to discredit their lived experiences is... definitely something a stalker would do!)

been seeing a lot of ophelia on my dash.... sensing a theme.... anyway it reminded me heres Ophelia by Kinnie Starr off her 1996 album Tidy. i had to track this album down on CD and copy it to my computer and convert the files to share it with u guys
