For context, this is Kintsugi-verse Beeprowl months down the line from where we're currently at in the story. Timeline wise, Prowl's just started his third trimester here. Bumblebee loves to cuddle with Prowl and the little lovebug that he and Prowl made together inside of him.

I drew this on my old ass motorola obama phone in high school and like i would hide it away from the other kids and the tumblr people i was friends with because i was so ashamed of how happy it made meeee. Like looking back its literally just beeprowl and baby like this is light work

Baby junebug. Little coffee bean. Writing part time!

At emergence, Junebug was actually a bit larger than Prowl was expecting him to be. Since he has a regular sized alt mode, he came out proportional to that. He was also pretty round and squishy.

Junebug loved to watch his sire play video games. He particularly liked Tomb Raider because of the pretty rocks and waterfalls.

Junebug is still an infant in this pic. He still crawls a lot hehe.

Currently preoccupied with thinking about Blurr introducing Prowl to kinesio tape during his carrying cycle because Prowl needs any support possible for how his sparkling is weighing down on his narrow hips and pelvis. The kinesio tape really helps Prowl in staying mobile and in shape. Bumblebee also thinks the tape is super cute in a sporty way. He likes to say that he's helping Prowl put on his racing stripes.

Kintsugi-verse misc ramblings:

Before Bumblebee and Prowl decided to name their sparkling Junebug, they actually really liked the name Blade. However, after emergence, they saw that the sparkling had winglets, and went with Junebug instead. Bumblebee thinks it's cuter and less threatening anyways.

Junebug popped out of Prowl's frame a nice tan brown. Then, his plating began to come in, and he became a deep espresso brown. He ended up getting Prowl's colors, but in a warmer saturation. He's got golden accents too.

Junebug has so many nicknames. Bumblebee calls him 'coffee bean', which turned into the name 'beanie bit'. Sari calls him 'bugaboo' (after the song). Ratchet calls him 'scraplet', 'scamp', and often refers to him as a little rascal. Bulkhead mainly calls him 'pillbug'. Prowl and Optimus are the only guys who consistantly refer to Junebug by his given name.

Prowl kind of had to move into Bumblebee's quarters because he couldn't adequately babyproof his. Optimus (who has OSHA training) deemed the open air space, which was littered with fragile objects (or, really, Prowl's tchotchkes), to be unsuitable for anyone under Sari's age. The same was stated about Bumblebee's quarters, but the minibot could actually clean his - unlike Prowl. Turns out it's really hard to patch up humongous holes in the ceiling, even if you're a giant alien robot.

Bumblebee and Prowl are not married because they haven't completed any legal paperwork to get married, and both have turned down the concept of marriage because who needs paperwork from the system to prove their love, man! They have completed the five rites necessary to become conjunx endura though - save for the exchange of innermost energon.

Kintsugi AU - nest edition:

Cybertronians actually usually do not build nests. However, Prowl has always built nests because he likes having a sanctuary space to decompress in. So, Prowl ends up building what I call an autism nest during his pregnancy because he's so tired out and drained by carrying. He "borrows" some materials from the medbay and builds a nest in his quarters so he snooze the day away.

However, something's missing. Prowl eventually realizes that no matter how snuggled up he is, he can't sleep until the sire of his sparkling is beside him. So, naturally, Prowl wakes up Bumblebee (who initially thinks Prowl and/or the sparkling is sick), and begs him for cuddles. Bumblebee is just tired enough to agree, so they end up curled up together in Prowl's nest.

(Ratchet ends up reaming Prowl out for taking blankets and cushions from the medbay, but its okay because Prowl gets new stuff from Sari and her dad to build the Autism Nest 2.0)

Kitsugi drabble preview -

(note: Kintsugi is a mech preg fanfic about Bumblebee and Prowl. For further context, check the description on my AO3 page, which is listed in my bio 🤠. This takes place at some point after chapter 3.)

Bumblebee carefully grasped the clawed servo resting on Prowl's middle, and slid his own under it - his palm resting against the slight swell of the carrying mech's stomach. Prowl's gaze drifted down to his lover's small hand, his long fingers quickly intertwining and melding with the other mech's.

"I think the bump looks cute on you." Bumblebee stated.

"Hmm, really?" Prowl asked.

"Yeah. Still really trips me out though - I forget that you're carrying most of the time honestly. Everything's been business as usual up until...y'know, Blurr got here."

Prowl let out a sigh at the mention of the Elite Guardsman.

"Blurr is nice enough." Prowl stated. "A bit high strung, maybe - but ultimately, he's a good fit. The other Elite Guard mechs, though..."

Prowl went quiet for a moment. Bumblebee jumped to interrupt the dead air.

"Ugh, who cares what any of those blowhards have to say? You're forging a sparkling, Prowler. I bet none of those Elite Guard boltbrains could do that."

Prowl snickered, before letting out a fond sigh.

"I suppose that's true, Bumblebee." Prowl conceded. "I understand what they have to say about me being a liability for the team though. I'm not in much of a fighting shape right now."
