Jidge Ramblings
James and Ryan are chillin in their room (for this scenario they are roommates at the garrison). It’s a pretty quiet night. James is studying some aeronautics stuff. Ryan is editing a video. Ryan asks James for a certain meme-like pic they made as a joke. The thing is, they make a lot of these, and James is in the middle of a pretty advanced formula. So he unlocks his phone and throws it at Ryan. “Sorry bro, I’m a bit busy. You can look for it though.”
Ryan finds the meme folder pretty quickly, but realizes there’s a new folder called Shortstack. He glances up to make sure James is preoccupied, and, seeing that he is nose deep in the book, Ryan does not hesitate to open the folder. It’s to his delight and glee that it is full of candid shots of Pidge. Most of them are off-centered and blurry, but there are more than 20 of her sleeping at various desks and tables around the garrison. His favorite though, seems to be one where James convinced her to take a selfie with him. James is smiling extra big in the pic, and Pidge is looking up at him instead of the camera, a fond , questioning look in her eye. He quickly texts the pic to himself, then deletes the message so James wouldn’t find out. Then he backs out of the whole app and realizes the photo is James’ background on his phone. Ryan turns of the phone and tosses back to James.
“Did you find what you were looking for?”
“Yeah, but then I found something even better. Thanks.”
And then Ryan texts Nadia immediately and the text starts with “Girl, you would not believe.”
