the card system..... THE BLOODY CARD SYSTEM. otherwise i would have enjoyed it a lot more;;;;;; i never got past Traverse Town in either the gameboy or the PS2 so i commend you and your ability to master it.

i think it would be better if people could treat hobbies like they do with movie genres--it may not be your thing, but it’s my thing, and there’s no inherent worth to what’s better or worse. just respect people’s preferences (none of us have any purpose anyway, we’re all uselessly blobbing about wasting the earth’s resources so just do what you want lol)

right, like short answer is there’s no real reason to do anything at all in this world. long answer is: people find things that obviously fulfill something within themselves, whatever it may be. if you want to discount makeup because you don’t care about looks then stop wearing clothes and stop washing your hair and maybe forget about having a favourite colour. obviously love for makeup or anything else can get extreme that it interferes with your life, but you’re never talking about when it gets extreme. you’re talking about when someone takes an hour to get ready that affects literally 0% of your own life but you see it out of the corner of your eye and you don’t understand it so you get whiny about it.
