Agata is the Wolf Chapter Five

The Witchfinder’s departure was a relief, but Agata could not breathe easily again until she’d dealt with the Family. She did not sleep well despite the waning moon, always listening and starting awake at unexpected sounds. She went through the motions of daily life hour by hour with a grim and furious determination, getting the day out of the way so she could await the Family at night.

Which was why they caught her by surprise a couple of days later by arriving mid-morning.

The weather was remaining fine, and Agata was doing her washing. She churned her clothes through the mangle and flung them on the line with inefficient, dramatic movements, like she was setting the sails on a ship attempting to outrun a storm, wishing she was on a ship outrunning a storm, or sailing anywhere really. From ships to the Witchfinder’s drawings to the Witchfinder himself her thoughts circled until a short howl of greeting, sung from at least two throats, floated through the warm, sun-dappled forest.

Start from the beginning. Agata is a widow, a grandmother, and a werewolf. When her granddaughter’s unexpected and ill-advised visit on a moonlit night brings a stranger in her wake, Agata unleashes her wolf to protect her, but leaves the man his life.

Agata’s powerful in-laws keep their distance as long as she doesn’t break any Family rules, the most important of which is to leave no prey alive. Now there’s a Witchfinder on the loose nursing a bite that will be everyone’s problem the next time the moon is full, and Agata must decide who she is and face what she’s done.

I have always enjoyed creating content because i genuinely love the game and the lovely community. My goal has always been to share that passion through art that brings excitement and enjoyment to fellow players.

I was deeply disappointed by the recent announcement. Many players were eagerly looking forward to valko, and the sudden decision has left a large part of the community feeling disheartened. Seeing so many passionate players affected by this has also been difficult for me as a creator, I sincerely hope it gets resolved soon. I truly want to continue creating content that brings positivity.
