I started considering a name for one of my OCs and I'm not sure if it fits, but I came up with one (1) measly justification for why it *might possibly* work and now it's threatening to stick. After months of insisting that his name is "[static noise]", he's trying this one on and nodding in approval.
Excuse the language, but heckwaffles. 🤣
Alright I've been thinking... I've been rewatching The Dark Crystal and replaying Kingdom Hearts. (In case you couldn't tell)
And I've come across a realization.
The Skeksis and Organization are TOO SIMILAR! Think about it! They both own a castle
They're a group of beings that resemble the darkness and evil
They're spilts of a single being
They're ruled by a someone that just won't die
Either I'm on to something or I need to go outside, probably the latter
I never thought, years ago, of writing the university thesis on Mr. Waugh (a man unknown to me until a few weeks ago) because I saw Bright Young Things and I fell in love with that world.
If it hadn't been for these two actors, maybe I would never have proposed the idea to the professor, and maybe I would never have aroused a spontaneous WOW by her, and maybe I would never have been as happy as I am now.
