Reading 'The Age of The Vikings' and the authors talking about dye in the viking era. They had the ability to make red dye with Madder (a type of plant)
I remember seeing people once say that Astrids movie 2 outfit was an example of her bring like,, in higher standing because of Hiccup or whatever
