There’s something very Lovecraftian about Clockwork Stars. The Kirby universe has a small group of living, planet-sized machines floating through the vastness of space. We have a vague idea of who created them, but not when or why or how. Despite their alleged purpose as wish granters, everyone who tries to wish upon these Stars winds up dead or permanently traumatized. We don’t know their motives. We don’t know their limits. The more I think about them, the more unnerving they seem.

What always interesting to me is the pilot series had Dedede more in character than the actually series. As much as I like Dedede in the anime...especially the dub...he is not like his game counterpart at all, as it only took a few games for him to be on Kirby's side which the pilot does with him trying to sabotage Kirby till he quickly befriends him. Unlike canon show where for the most he always is trying to be as evil as possibly and kill or defeat kirby and takes the end of the series for him to change..

Damn, the new villain looks so cool. He looks like a mix of Dark matter swordsman and King dedede, maybe it’s dark- wait… who are this?!

Those looks like boxes and disks, so this things are either debris or machines akin to UFO’s so this guy might not be alone. Also that huge thing in the back

Is it a building? Is it a very large guy with black armor? Is it a giant robot?!

This is either the real big bad (meaning Mr. Dark over there is a minion like the original dark matter swordsman was to Zero, or how Susie and Taranza were the ones doing the dirty boss for the actual big bads until the last minute) or a very big minion that’s just there to establish the villain forces

Some of Y'all being mad about genwel meteonelfilis just being a reskin of fecto Elfilis's fight and how it should of been galacta knight is really funny to me.

Like if galacta knight was the final boss it would probably just be a reskin of morpho knight/ meta knight? And those guys have been done wayyyy more than Elfilis ever will be. I've never played a game that fights galacta knight so maybe he has some craaazy gimmick that makes him different from all the other mask-wearing puff balls

I think meteonelfilis was quite different from fectos boss fight and the lore implications he has are really interesting and gives us more background to help theorize on why fecto Elfilis might have invaded in the first place

Don't get me wrong I was also completely surprise galacta knight wasn't in the game at all. he was heavily hinted at throughout and galacta fans definitely got baited.but on the other hand if we knew much more about galacta knight it would just make him less mysterious and thus less interesting.I think star allies did a good job wrapping up his deal.

Kirby, star crossed world trailer analysis

First off, I’m surprised this is even a practice, I’m not complaining. Im buying the switch 2 and playing this dlc first moment’s notice

Second off, we can see the heart shaped comet breaking and evil leaking out of it. So something is trying to control it and that caused to break (like the crystal shards) or it was a prison for what’s inside of it (like the Jamba heart)

Second the obvious stuff like it affecting the beast pack and the surroundings, first corrupting force in the series that actually affects the environment beyond the sky line which is also affected to look like… another dimension (we’ll come back to this

During the trailer we can see the dark thing falling and creating a island, this is actually seen in game and we can give a name to the non-Jamba heart, “Fallen-Star volcano” which seems to still have star pieces covering it

Now to the new characters, thanks to @das-a-kirby-blog and @what-is-love-babey-dont-hurt-me for pointing out that this creatures resemble galacta’s mask (so does the coins affected by the stars) however despite this I’m not sure we’ll see galacta himself yet, BUT seeing how the little creature was inside of a crystal prison (that resembles the crystals inside of Another Dimension) and the big guy was actually wearing a armor. We might be in front of the thing that sealed galacta knight and not galacta knight himself

And lastly, this crystals look very similar to the ones in “another dimension” during Magolor’s chase, and seeing how this game already takes the star shaped portals from RTDL and connects them to Fecto Elfilis then the crystals may be connected to the new antagonist which may also be a ancient threat like Elfilis

Also I bet 5 bucks on king dedede getting possessed by the crystals… again

Goin' strong on a year of struggling to process RTDL DX's fucking Magolor ethnicity twist, but I think I've come to maybe my third eye-opener on why it happened.

The core of Magolor's character is that he is a nobody who pretended to be someone y'know? Even when it was implied he was from Halcandra, you got this image of a little runt living in a hellscape dotted with vestiges of a great past, and one that he lied and stole his way into, ultimately in order to get his hands on the symbol of ownership over it right?

But if he's from Halcandra, to a lot of people and probably the writers, that would imply that there IS something special and deserved of his hoarding of the Ancient's glory. In fandom I often see a character being implied to be RELATED to the Ancients meaning they *ARE* an Ancient. They ARE an important old fart with a lot of history and knowledge, but I have personally never seen it that way.

I LOVE history. I LOVE HISTORY AND ANTHROPOLOGY SO MUCH, and I love thinking about history, mythology, and people as symbiotic living things and concepts, so to me, INSTANTLY the most intriguing route is for the Ancients to be a myth and whoever is left to Just Be A Guy. Maybe they can trace direct heritage, but more than anything they are a person living in the shadow of something, there is nothing but the shadow, and the shadow is that Legacy of The Ancients. Whether it be Hyness ranting and raving about a magic and religion he fundamentally misunderstands, or Magolor claiming an artifact that may've ironically been what brought his home to such ruin.

But I think the writers want to avoid Magolor being Halcandran - to the point of not just leaving it open, or hinting to the negative, BUT EXPLICITLY SAYING 'NO' - because they don't want to say that he is special or deserving of the legacy he is so fascinated with by birthright. But simply, I love writing characters who DO have birthright to things they seek. They're just not informed that birthright is fucking stupid in my headcanon and they will suffer for that.
