Real question here, how much does Eolyne like Star King Kirito and in what kinda way does he talk about him? is it like---really excitedly or dreamy or what?

Eolyne is someone who is very strictly businesslike about everything towards the public & other people because he's a leader so even if he has any particular feelings about Star King he would not show it haha. So far his actions towards people can subtly tell some bits about how he is:
- I'll be honest, the one who has the most shipping material with Eolyne is KIRITO (like, WHY ARE PEOPLE EVEN SURPRISED AT THIS POINT, KIRITO IS THE LAUNCHER OF A THOUSAND SHIPS IN THIS SERIES, please don't let the sexist anime fool you you can see how well his relationships with other males are in the LN, also he's the 2nd male who got shipped with Kirito the most in Japanese fanarts after Eugeo 🤣) He's standoffish with everyone else, but he's so quick to be open to Kirito, even both Kirito & Eolyne themselves feel this is strange as they can talk freely despite that they only just met 2-3 times, it just feels like they have known each other since ages. This is a parallel to Kirito/Eugeo as the boys were also surprised they could bond so quickly in LN volume 9 (Alicization anime ep 2-3) just like they have known each other before. Eolyne is also open enough to be sarcastic about Kirito's dorkiness, like Kirito made himself a fool in front of everyone a lot in UR.
- Eolyne might look cold but his true self is very motherhenly kind 🤭. He seems to care for his 15-year-old subordinates Laurannei & Stica's well-being a lot, even Kirito noted that they are way too young to be soldiers. He also bailed Kirito out of jail, and in the 2nd time they met he also made tea & rebaked frozen honey pies to invite Kirito to eat.
- Eolyne have got to met Asuna & Alice in his 3rd time seeing Kirito, but Kirito noted that Eolyne was nervous because Asuna & Alice are legendary figures in UW after 200 years after the War, yet Eolyne is so casual with Kirito. Other than that, Alice told Kirito she was surprised to see Eolyne looking so much like Eugeo, while Asuna used to see Eugeo's "ghost" in the War before, though Kirito asked Asuna & Alice to keep that a secret for now as he needs to investigate. There is no other relationship development in the 3rd time meeting because they only discussed business about how to deal with the real world intruder and the brink of another War between 2 planets.
Honestly I should finish translating the chapters with Eolyne before people keep assuming shit 🙄
