I looked away live and missed the finish. Buchecha shot for a double leg takedown in the center of the cage and basically fell over. Did not get it but managed to use the ensuing scramble to grab a leg to lock in the heel hook. Some slick BJJ nonsense if I’ve ever seen it. I appreciate Buchecha shooting. He was actually pretty good at it in BJJ competitions and using it to get leg lock entries is a great strategy against lower level MMA fighters. Especially at heavyweight.

Buchecha is now 4-0 in MMA.

Kirill Grishenko stops “Reug Reug” Oumar Kane at the bell in the 2nd

Confusing ending sequence there.

Grishenko did a good job of being patient and aggressive. Reug Reug tried to dive in on body lock takedowns but Kirill managed to stay up and eat away at him with body shots from the tie up. At the end of the 2nd, they are tied up along the fence but Grishenko managed to create some space before landing a right hand. Reug Reug goes down, claiming he got hit in the throat (which he likely did). There was confusion because it appeared Kirill might have thrown it after the bell but it looked borderline to me so clean.
