he looks older on tv than in real life. he is very handsome & also very kind. also super tall and lanky. made my awkward ass feel less like i wanted to disappear into the earth by being very confident. i got a picture with him.

edit: forgot to mention!!!! he was playing floor hockey with a bunch of kids and seemed to be having a great time. when they say he spends a lot of time in the community they aren’t kidding. i met him at an event at the first nations community centre (my fiancé is first nations). it’s a really small little community/first nations band - maybe 4000 people? and they took the time to come out. i really appreciated that.

2nd edit: i looked it up, there are only 1300 community members.
