ELSA KIRSCH - FROM ASHES 🔥

“ So…” She began, running a hand through her hair which had long since been matted by the rain. “I just set on fire. That is a thing that just happened….and you guys? Well you’re all totally okay with it. Which is great, except it’s not because you should be freaking out, but you’re not, which is kind of making me freak out. ”

“You want to be a hero? Is that it?” For Kirken wooooop

Ever since Theo had come back from the dead - or purgatory, or wherever the hell he had been for those stress free couple of months that he’d been out of Elsa’s life - he’d been different. An odd kind of different, that was not attributed only to his longer, and unusually darker hair, but to his attitude, mannerisms and his entire way of being. Whilst Elsa had previously found his devil may care, and sometimes immoral personality endearing to the point of being attractive in the past, all she felt these days was suspicious. 

“What are you doing.” She confronted him, he had just made some speech about helping the pack - a pack he was very much not a part of - and had only that afternoon helped Liam overcome his issues with his anger. 

“I don’t know what you mean Els.” Theo smiled innocently. That devilishly handsome smile that made Elsa want to roundhouse him in the face. 

“You want to be a hero? Is that it?” She raised a brow. “You want to save the day, make all of us trust you, like you?” 

Around the table, the other pack members exchanged awkward glances. This confrontation had been a long time coming, they’d just all hoped it would happen when they weren’t around. 

“Well at the very least I want you to like me.” 

“Maybe you should have thought about that last year before you...” she started counting off on her fingers. “Lied to me, used me, hurt my friends...oh and am I forgetting the part where you kissed Tracy?” 

Theo was becoming increasingly uncomfortable, and the various pairs of eyes that were trained solely on him weren’t doing him any favours. “Look Elsa, I’m trying to be better. To prove to you that I can be one of the good guys.” 

Elsa laughed. “Theo, hell will freeze over before that happens.”

Theo threw their assailant with so much force that Elsa was almost certain she heard his bones cracking as he came into contact with the far wall of the Sheriff’s office. He didn’t stop there either, instead he lunged forwards, attacking the man whilst he was down. Theo’s eyes flashed a dangerous yellow and his canines elongated, becoming more sharp and protruding and a deep growl emitted from the pit of his stomach. 

On the opposite side of the room, Shane grabbed Elsa’s hand giving it a light squeeze. Elsa turned to the brunette, her icy blue eyes wide. “I don’t know whether I should be scared or horny?!” It was a genuine question, her head and certain other parts of her body were sending out seriously conflicting signals. 

Shane watched in horror as Theo’s shirt was torn clean off his body, revealing his chiselled pectorals. “Both, definitely both.”

Elsa narrowed her eyes at Theo who stood awkwardly in the doorway to the bedroom she shared with Shane, he was over an hour late for their supposed first date and he still hadn’t explained his mysterious disappearance from school that afternoon. 

“So…” Elsa prompted and Theo shifted nervously from one foot to the other. He watched her carefully, not needing to use his werewolf senses to pick up on her irritation at him, it was practically suffocating him regardless. 

“Els…”

“Don’t Els me, only my friends get to Els me and you Theo are not my friend.”

That hurt him. For all his faults, and all the bad things Theo Raeken had done in his life, Elsa Kirsch had always made him feel differently, as though he could be a better person, that being with her would make him one. To hear that she didn’t even consider him a friend, or that she didn’t in this moment at the very least, struck a chord with him. “I had to work.” It was technically not a lie.

“Oh please. You know, there’s this thing called honesty Raeken, you should try it sometime.” Elsa hurled a pillow at him, hitting him square in the chest. “Get out of here before I set your underwear on fire.”

“So..the movie?” He asked sadly.

“You’re gonna be netflix and chilling by yourself tonight, I hope you and your hand are very happy together.” She raised a brow when a hint of a blue peppered Theo’s cheeks. “Close the door on your way out.” 

He didn’t need telling twice, and there was no arguing with Elsa Kirsch when she was as infuriated as this. Theo left without another word, closing the door silently behind him. He passed Shane on the stairs who offered him a quizzical expression, but he merely shook his head and left the Kirsch household without another word.

What would Elsa think of how Theo is acting now? Would she try to get Scott to let him into the pack? Also what is endgame for Elsa? Is it kirken or elscott, because what about scolia?

I haven’t watched Teen Wolf since Season 5 episode 4, so I honestly...couldn’t say. I dunno what Theo is up to these days, is he still a bad guy or is he a good guy now? I dunno man, I do know that Els would be making some comments about Theo’s questionable hairstyle choices though, so that would be some comic relief amidst the undoubtedly dark (both literally and metaphorically) TW world. 

I also dunno about what would have been endgame for Elsa. If I had finished From Ashes I would probably have looked out for peoples reactions to each ship and taken some cues from that. I’m a people pleaser tbh so whichever ship was more popular I probably would’ve been swayed towards that. I ship Scott McCall with happiness at the end of the day, so if Elsa would’ve made him happy i’d have happily gone with that, same goes for Malia tbh.
