Hey everyone, so I’m starting a new feature on the blog (which is one day late because I got distracted last night) called ☆○o 。 FANFIC FRIDAY 。o○☆ which is essentially an opportunity for me to showcase some of my fave OCs !!!
So first up is Ryder Blake by the wonderful @whittymores who I adore and I am so intrigued by even though I don’t watch Supernatural. I’m so intrigued to see where Joey takes this character and I am rydean until I die.
what part are you most excited for your fans to read??
Oof. I’m kind of nervous-excited for chapter three, which starts to go into Kat’s background a little more. I’ve been keeping a lot under wraps, so finally being able to share is going to be a relief. I’m also really excited to share all the stuff I wrote at the Roadhouse. That’s all original plot, obviously, so it’ll be nice to share with you guys.

Ah, I love you. Kat is 100% bi. And that will be discussed in the story as well. Without going into too much detail, she has dated both men and women prior to the story’s start.
Fun Fact: As far as Gospel of the Chosen is concerned, pretty much everyone is Bi. Hooray!

OMFG, I love you and all your ocs so I’m thrilled af that you ask me about my little angry bean tho. It’s hella long I’ll put it under the cut!
So Casey mostly grew up with her dad since her mum just left Cassandra on Tony’s doorstep and let me tell you that Tony was freaked AF tbh. She grew up being a little bit spoiled by Tony, so she’s very used to have what she wants easily and doesn’t like when someone tell her no. Despite this, Casey stays an overall cute bean who’s very sweet and caring with her friend (or more with her friend) and is loyal as hell. She has a hard time trusting people generally, and is really snarky, confident and sarcastic like her dad. Casey is a scientist nerd, a genius like her dad but also fascinated by stars and mythology (and she’s a big fan of Rick Riordan and read ALL his books). Anyway, Cassandra grew up happily except that she never really accepted her father’s superhero status and even loath it, but she never had the nerve to tell him and even felt guilty to feel that way. And the fact that he almost dies, one hundred times didn’t help and since, Cassandra Stark is the biggest anti of superhero you’ve ever met.
Casey is also super freaked out by herself cause she has some sorts of abilities, she barely controls and if it wasn’t for Tony and his technology, she would have loose control a long time ago. No one knows what she is and Tony is super worried by this and is always trying to understand. She basically has the ability to practice magic and persuasions as well a little bit of a superior physiology.
At the beginning of the fic, Cassandra is shaken by the Civil War and when she learns that Tony kept secrets from her concerning a certain Peter Parker, despite his promise to not having any secrets (kind of hypocrite from my daughter but still); she wants to understand and enrolled at Midtown after she’s been fired from her old high school (She kinda did a prank on a student who talked shit about her dad). Basically, Casey wants to get Peter’s secret and try to understand why Tony’s hiding a nerdy cute teenager. But then she discovers that Peter is Spiderman, find herself involved in his shits while dealing with vivid nightmare and powers going crazy and her best friend being involved in the very same mess as her.
Casey has a lot of relationships, but the most important one is obviously with Tony. He struggled a lot raising Casey, especially since he had no idea how to deal with a kid (but thank god Pepper Potts tbh) and always ended being the cool parents. Like, of course he tried his best to raise Casey and he really loves his daughter but the fact that he became a superhero didn’t really help. Casey has a lot of issues with this, and sometimes Tony’s behavior, but never told him because she’s always afraid to lose him so she doesn’t want to “ruin” the little moments they get. Both of them basically spent good time by doing some sciences or her watching Tony is working on his suits or watching tv reality shows and talking some shits.
Pepper and Casey relationship is the sweetest cause Casey basically call her mom. Both of them have a daughter-mother bound and it became stronger over the years. Pepper is the responsible parent tbh and she basically deals with every administrative papers as well trying to be an attentive shoulder for Casey. Honestly, Pepper is just Casey’s mom and they love each other more than everything. Casey just admires Pepper and she’s her role model.
As for the other Avengers, Rhodey is her godfather and responsible uncle. They basically family and Rhodey will always be there for her. Just as Casey will always be there for Rhodey, no matter what. Casey basically worships Thor and is fascinated by him and the mythology. When she was younger, Thor basically spent hours telling her story of Asgard (and she even met Heimdall once and had a crush on him lame), his battles and Casey was just fascinated. He also Lowkey loved when Casey was around BC she was just a bubble of joy. Casey is also highly impressed by Natasha and Natasha liked the kiddo cause she took shit from no one and was so alike to Tony to the point where it was fun. Bruce Banner is a hero to her BC first of all Hulk and second of all he is hella smart.
Then there is her relationship with Peter Parker. He’s such a cutie and Casey was so ready to hate him, but then he was nice which didn’t help. She befriends him and they surprisingly find some shared interests and they become friend slowly. It’s one of the first time where no one knows her dad or tries to get to know her with interest. She starts to crush on him, which is very awkward cause Casey isn’t used to it and even less about a guy she tried to manipulate and has a crush on other girls. Peter will end up by learning the truth and it’s gonna be very hard for Casey cause she was used to her life at Midtown and her new friends and Peter. Eventually, it will ge okay I think and then there Infinity War who will crush Casey, especially concerning Peter and their relationship tbh.
Also, there are two other uses in Casey’s story (as well a third one who has her own story). First, there is Colton Marshall, nephew to Rhodey and best friend to Casey. He grew up with an abusive dad, very money/power driven who didn’t tolerate ANYTHING tbh. Very conservative and is always bringing down his kids BC he thinks that it’s a healthy way to push his kids to do better (and let me tell you that he’s not happy to have a demisexual polyamorous son who wants to be a hero rather than a politician). Despite this, Colton stayed very kind-hearted who hates bullies, stand up for himself and who just want to help people like his uncle Rhodey. He and Casey are best friend, platonic soul mates and they’re always there for each other. There’s no one who believes more in Colton than Casey and Colton always want what’s best for Casey (which involve talking to her dad). Despite not agreeing on a lot of things, Colton still very loyal and won’t ever share Casey’s secrets/plans except if he sees that it’s dangerous. Later on, Colton will be involved in the movie plot and it’s gonna be very hard for him cause he will be torn between who he wants to be and what has to be done.
And my little social warrior, Morena Delgado. A proud feminist, a fierce advocate for the human rights and fight against minorities and an LGBTQ fighter too. She comes from a very religious family with a cop mother and an attorney father so despite being loud and “honest”, Morena hides everything to her parents because she’s afraid of their reactions. Morena is a firm believer that rules are good and agreed on the Accords and is oriented anti-hero, or least, the Avengers (she thinks they destroyed more than anything else). Morena is very friendly; but can be rude and judgmental butshe’s a hella stubborn babe who want to changes the world. Morena can be very clumsy so she will have a very little part in the plot of the fiction and as well becoming one of Casey’s first friend at Midtown. She’ll also befriend Colton and these tthree could be bombass bc they’re very different but somehow, they just match!

Two years after the attack on New York, Q Proctor is a SHIELD analyst assigned to take care of Steve Rogers and help him adjust to the new world. This means she’s gotta help him with anything and everything from new technologies to new social norms. She’s got her graphs and her charts and her notepads and is all set to make sure she helps Steve in the best, most clinical way possible.
She’s extremely nerdy -- loves her puzzles and crosswords and Sudoku (Dawson jokes that she’s actually 90) And speaking of him, she has one friend: Dawson, another SHIELD agent. She is in terrible shape like doesn’t workout regularly or eat healthy -- surviving mostly on Lucky Charms, sodas and breakfast sandwiches bc she really can’t cook. She loves romantic comedies and HGTV and is a big fan of classic rock. She’s got a Brooklyn accent (since she’s originally from Brooklyn) that she tries really hard to cover up bc Professionalism but it does slip out when she’s really excited/angry/sad. But she’s got some secrets and a lil bit of dark past (not Too Dark just like stupid shit) so she prides herself on becoming the woman she is today.
Her relationship with Steve starts out as a professional one that turns into a friendship and then a romantic relationship (bc duh). She’s a bit of an uptight professional at first like making sure there are very clear lines between her and Steve; he’s her assignment and that’s it. Steve 100% believes Q just appeared one day, out of thin air, pantsuit and all.
Of course, spending like 16 hours a day together, every single day and talking about the Deep, Dark Shit causes some shifts in the relationship. They become friends first, then start to Feel Things for each other but hide it bc Professionalism and Jobs. Though they do start to do relationshippy things under the guise of Platonic-ness (word?) like “oh you don’t know how to kiss?? let me teach you??” and like “oh you want to see how we used to dance/go on dates?? i’ll show you!!” basically everyone can see it but them lol BUT THEY’RE JUST TWO NERDS WHO GET TOGETHER IN THE END OK??? (also all that Winter Soldier shit happens too haha)

Bucky and Mika didn’t quite know how to tell King T’Challa that they were...well, he knew the phrase in the ‘40′s was shacking up, but he wasn’t sure of the phrase used nowadays. And while they were eternally grateful for his protection, and resources, and room and board, they really didn’t want to have to keep sleeping in separate beds.
With his mind free from the clutches of Hydra, Bucky had become...he believed Mika used the word insatiable at one point, though she didn’t seem to mind. But he was getting tired of her leaving his bed in the middle of the night. After all he’d done, he didn’t understand why they had to keep up these appearances, but Mika said something about generosity and royalty and customs. He thought that was bull shit, but went with it.
“Stay here tonight.” he murmured, her head resting on his chest and their bare legs entangled. She laughed, repositioning so she could look at him.
“You know I can’t.” she said, tapping his nose with her finger. They heard her phone ding from wherever she’d discarded her jeans, but neither moved to check it. His hand traced down her bare back, coming to rest at her hip.
“But, consider this,” he said, giving her a mischievous smirk, “what if you did?”
“I would love to. You know I would.” she said, sitting up and resting her hand on his chest. “But I don’t want to risk looking...ungrateful.”
He heaved a deep sigh. “I know. It makes sense.” he replied. He wanted to say how much he missed her, how he longed to wake up next to her, but he held his tongue. He wouldn’t want to make her feel worse. She crawled off the bed, carefully pulling her clothes back on before giving him a lingering kiss.
“I’ll see you tomorrow?” she asked, and in answer he gave her another searing kiss. She grinned, stepping away and going to leave.
As soon as she closed the door behind her, she was met with the sight of Shuri, who was wearing a rather impish grin.
“Hello there, New Best Friend.” she said, her tone teasing.
“Oh, Shuri, hi, Bucky and I were just-” Mika tried to think of any excuse possible, but none came to mind. Luckily, the princess interrupted her with a hand.
“Please, Mika, I know what kind of activities lead to your hair looking like that.” she said, raising her eyebrows. Mika raised a self conscious hand to her head; she was right, her hair was very messed.
“I...I don’t know what to say right now.” she said, afraid of getting chastised or lectured or thrown out by the sixteen year old. But Shuri just laughed, turning and walking away.
“I’ll send Bucky’s things up to your apartment tomorrow morning. The view of the sunrise is better from there.” she said.
