Exactly one year ago today was the last time we performed the “Kirschgarten” at the Theater in der Josefstadt. Due to the pandemic, the theater closed the next day and the world started to change in the week that followed. It was surreal and still is. I truly miss everyone I shared the stage with and I miss performing. To be a performer without the ability to perform is an absurd state to be in for so long. Luckily, ORF3 filmed an old performance of ours and will air it this Friday at 21:50. Thanks to the folks at the @josefstadttheater and the @orf I was able to rock the Kurt Cobain look one last time this winter before another lockdown. I feel really fortunate to be in a cast of such friendly and talented people. I hope to see all of you again soon! For everyone who wasn’t able to see our theater piece, I’ll let you know when it’s aired on the ORF. After days of only bad news, I was happy to read something good today! Austria’s biggest newspaper wrote about my part in the “Kirschgarten” at the Theater in der Josefstadt, the album that I released with songs from the play, and my probable concert next month at the Stadtsaal. It’s ironic that I’m on a bed in the picture they used from @andreasjakwerth because that’s exactly where I’ve been the last day wondering what I’m going to do now that all of my plans have changed.
