Visiting his mom at work who was a nurse, Ricky had brought lunch for the two of them. Some sandwiches from her favorite place in town, alongside some drinks. All neatly packed in a cooler, he stepped into the elevator and pressed the floor she usually worked on. Saying a quick hi to the other person, he smiled at them and watched as the numbers climbed as the elevator went up. But as they almost reached the third floor, they stopped and the light on the button turned off. "Umn," he said and looked around, "is this normal?"

With the leash in one hand, Courtney used the other to push the stroller down the street. It was a beautiful day in Kismet, the sun was shining, the temperature was not too cold or chilly, and it was the beginning of spring. So a walk with Seymour and Clara was absolutely needed after being copped up inside at work and at home from the cold. Things were going so smoothly that is until the wheel on the stroller broke just at the same time a group of pigeons decided to all swoop in after the sandwich that laid a mere two feet ahead of them. Just as Courtney leaned down to fix the wheel, Seymour decided to take off and go chasing the pigeons. "Seymour no! Heel, stay, sit!" She yelled after the dog, as she struggled to move the stuck wheel of the stroller with her four month old daughter in it. "Damn it!"

"Okay a few more sets then we can leave," He put down the weights he was using and took a breather, wiping sweat from his brow. He was amping up his gym routine since he and Hazal had decided upon an autumn wedding for next year. He figured it gave him a little over a year and a half to really make sure he looked good for it. Not just for the guests but himself and for his future wife. Plus it was a month or so from the summer and he always liked to have a beach ready body. He loved going to the gym as a whole but he was turning it up after slacking for more than he had anticipated. "Nothing like a great session at the gym, it makes you feel alive ya know? Like you could do literally anything."

The decision to run for district attorney wasn't a split second one he made on a whim. He had thought about it ever since the earthquake in town, wanting to be if more help and service to his community. Not that there was anything wrong with the procedures in place, he just wanted to make a difference in the town he had called home for three years. So he out his hat in the ring, and started to get the ball rolling within the office, and now he had to do so with the rest of the community. He had lawn signs made and he would go to various places in order to place them and get his name circulating. "Hey!" He called to the person closest, "uh do you mind giving me a hand? I kind of got in over my head with placing these. I should have hired some kids around town huh?"

"Okay, so I love my kids and I love volunteering, especially here. But if I hear the word data one more time I might scream," she huffed and turned to the parent beside her, her eyes rolling in order to garner a chuckle. To break the obvious heaviness in the air that marred each parent who sat there listening to the speaker drone on and on. She now understood why her own parents hated these PTA meetings, but also understood why they kept volunteering and were present for her and her brothers. "Like let kids be kids, they're ten years old, not seventeen and getting ready for college."

Despite the fact that Cohen had always hated summertime, he was currently strolling down the street in a cut off t-shirt and a pair of shorts that were nearly too big for him. He had his headphones in, and a guitar case in his hand as he made his way towards his favorite bench in the park. It was probably the bench that got the most sun, which he knew wasn't ideal especially if he'd be sitting out here awhile, but it was the bench in the center of the park which had become the spot he utilized when he wanted more people to hear his music. As he sat, he took his headphones out, allowing himself to tune his guitar before he began playing the opening chords to some Nickelback song he couldn't quite remember the name of at the moment. Humming along, sneaking in a few words as he played, Cohen nodded to each person passing by. He wasn't doing this for money - though he'd never complain about free tips - he was doing this for fun, but something about the attention he got sitting here never failed to give him a sense of rush from the attention. So that’s what he did, he sat, picked at his guitar and people watched. What better way to spend an afternoon he was off work anyways?

"Welcome to DELLA MODE." The brunette smiled, hearing the chime of the bell on the door as another customer entered the store. One of the many things she loved about her job at the store was her ability to display her artistic ability. Between the clothing she could repair if needed, the pieces she could throw on mannequins, or the jewelry she was making to sell in the shop her ability to use her job as a way to display her creative outlet was something she'd always be thankful for. She had just finished up resewing a patch onto a jacket on display when the person walked over to admire the jewelry on display. "Those are on sale this week only; buy one get one free." she smiled. "All are hand made by me, let me know if you have any questions, or if there's anything I can help you with, alright?"

Charlie had been spending a lot of time at home on the farm with Chantel and he was happy they had Hudson in their lives now. Even now it was very crazy for him to be nearly 60 with a newborn at home. But he was happy to be there, he liked having the little boy around. But it was taking up a lot of time for him so he knew he wasn't at Athletic Edge as much as he should.

He loved the place as much as he loved his farm. He was glad he was able to take over the place many years ago from the owner who retired. Sports was as big of a part of his life as his farm was. He smiled as he looked up to hear the door open. "Hello!" he didn't see who it was as they were behind a self as they entered the store. "How may I help you?"
