This Sweet Thangs, is the KISS BISCUIT. it is hands down my favorite Aussie cookie. It's like Christmas cookies and a Linzer started a supergroup. Think 2 golden, creamy, butter sugar cookies with bright, sharp Raspberry jam, that is then pushed over the top with icing and sprinkles. It's straight forward in Joy and in Treat. It's unpretentious but unforgettable. It's a treat every family here have a version of. It's Aussie Heritage Baking at its finest. These were made for me from the How-Glowacki family. I was gifted this Outstanding family in 2009 when I first started Cooking here. They are Creators/Artisans/Service people and the best kind of family. The kids are so vibrant, brilliant, funny, and sweet. They took me in as friend en masse. They have supported me through all I've struggled and conquered. And selfishly, for me they can cook like no body's business, and have always gifted me dishes they know Nicholas and I love.
