sneaking out is something that magnolia has always been good at, or so she thinks, elouise and kris can feel their energies from miles away so even when they think they’re hiding they really aren’t. the teenagers mind has been swirling since having to help ivar with his, well, accident the other night and all she’s wanted to do is get in the water. her connection to the elemental boggles all minds but that’s one of the places that maggie feels like she can just let go and be free. lucky for her there’s a small lake right outside their family home, just a bit of forest to get through, but it’s enough.
as blue eyes connect with the flat water it feels as if it’s calling her, with ease she sheds her clothes at the waterline, leaving on nothing to dampen her connection with the water. she’s all covered by the veil of darkness, dipping herself beneath the surface for what seems like ages, the need to breathe not registering. maggie learned early on that she could stay submerged for several minutes, coming in handy to scare certain people. in a small gentle movement, she’s guided her head above the water, only her eyes and the tip of her nose being seen till they connect with a pair she knows too well - the rest of her face now emerging. “did you follow me here?” magnolia speaking in a steady voice, eyes not leaving his, “you can come in if you want but i’m not getting out.”
