Somewhere behind the clouds were the summit and the Peak of Deception. We trekked for 12 hours traversing the RemValDely Peak, the Summit, the #NinetyDegreeWall, the Peak of Deception, passed by the currently barren Mabel Spring (no emergency water source), kissed the wall #KissTheWall, the Knife’s Edge and, finally, Mayo’s Peak.
Not surprising that most of us were black and blue when we reached camp at Mayo’s Peak.
It was all worth it though. The experience was all worth it.
