SUEZ CANAL OPENED

Suez Canal is one of the world's most important artificial sea-level waterways and was built for 10 years by a French company led by Ferdinand de Lesseps. The Suez Canal was named the "crossroads of Europe, Africa, and Asia” and considered as the shortest connection between east and west. It is a vital international navigation canal connecting the Mediterranean Sea at Port Said and the Red Sea at Suez that allows the Philippines to trade directly with Spain rather than via Mexico (galleon trade). It facilitated sea travel between Asia and Europe and paved the way for liberal ideas and education to reach the Philippines, thanks to ‘Ilustrados' who studied at Spanish universities.

Baluktot na daan? Diyos ang bahala riyan.

Ang pinaka-goal ng mga kaaway rito sa mundo ay ang ilayo tayo sa Diyos kaya kung ano-anong pinagbabato sa'tin. From addictions, mental sickness, tragedies, problems, traumas, temptations, etc. Kaya minsan, ang iba sa'tin ay naliligaw ng landas. It's either pinili nilang dumaan doon or may nagtulak sa kanila papunta roon.

But the thing is, our God is awesome. Kahit anong baluktot ng kaaway sa dinadaanan natin, kaya pa ring ituwid ito ng Diyos, kung siya ang ating pipiliin. That's why the best testimonies always comes from poeple who walked from curved path and found the straight path because it displays the fact that no matter how difficult and traumatic your experience is, God can still redeem you.

God can still use the stone thrown at you by the devil and use it for His own glory.

So, if ever you are walking on a curved path right now, surrender to Jesus and let God straighten your way.

Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass."
