DELUXE LIMITED EDITION--featuring beautiful stenciled edges!
A sweet and swoony novel of high spice and low stakes from the Coastal Rivals series author, Ki Stephens!
She’s a college cheerleader trading in her Oxford life for one year in Nashville. He’s a star quarterback who doesn’t do distractions. But when they team up for a no-strings-attached fling, they’ll have to break their own rules to keep playing the game.
After moving from England and breaking up with her underwhelming boyfriend, Ella Davies has one thing on her mind: proving herself on Whitland University’s elite cheer squad. She’s determined to let nothing derail her focus—except maybe the annoyingly handsome quarterback who keeps popping up at the most inconvenient times.
At Whitland, Hudson Fox is synonymous with football. Known for his relentless drive and reputation both on and off the field, he’s all about control. This season, he’s sworn off distractions to keep his eyes on the prize. But Ella’s fiery spirit and unexpected presence threaten to unravel his carefully laid plans.
Desperate to keep things simple, they strike a deal: just fun, no strings attached. But when lines start to blur and feelings edge in, they'll have to admit the only more dangerous than falling off the mat is falling for each other.
My Review
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is an incredibly entertaining read! It’s filled with heat, chemistry, and sweetness that will leave you giddy with excitement. You’ll swoon over Hudson and fall hard for every moment of Hudson and Ella’s journey!
This is Ella Davies and Hudson Fox’s journey and I loved every word of it!
Ella has left Oxford to move to Nashville to take her cheerleading aspirations to the next level. But the day she is to leave with her boyfriend of five years she finds out she is all on her own…in a new country!!!
Hudson “Wild Card” Fox, a senior football player, is embarking on his final year of the sport, as he doesn’t envision himself pursuing a professional career. He eagerly anticipates a distraction-free school year. However, unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case!
These two meet on the first night of the semester, unaware of each other’s identities. They have a “one-night stand,” but due to a no-fraternization policy between their teams, they must remain friends…or not!
These two are perfection together. I loved watching them becoming vulnerable with each other, such great friends and so much more.
Reading all about the cheer squad and the friendships, jealousy and the highs and lows of competition as well as practicing was a learning experience I never expected but enjoyed. Watching Ella and Hudson become even closer through this sport and the support and trust it created was the cherry on top!!
I loved this FANTASTIC romance!
If it wasn’t obvious by now—I kinda give a shit about you, Karras.” I tense up in his arms. “Ah, I see.” “And I think you give a shit about me, too.” “Yeah,” I quietly, hesitantly agree. “Yeah, maybe I do.
