Farcade polycule angst because as much as I really hope and want the show to delve into Kit's codependency with Kaboodle, to also see Kaboodle's side of things would be just as good to bite into since before all the Farcade and Gameoverse nonsense, it was just the two of them against the world and no one else. He's not oblivious to how much he means to her, as he cares about her deeply, just the same, if not more. He simply hides it underneath all his bluntness, annoyance, and sarcasm.

Hc that when Kit and Kaboodle were rescued by Dusk and brought to Farcade, Kaboodle refused to let anyone try and fix Kit’s mechanical equipment and instead repaired it himself. This was before they learned of healing items so Kaboodle repaired Kit’s equipment manually. It not only allowed Kit to stay close to Kaboodle at a time where she definitely did not wanna be away from him and allowed Kaboodle to focus on something that wasn’t the death of their world.
