Do you have a favorite Pixar Short? The #Somosbounders and I had so much fun doing a Pixar shorts appreciation group bound!!! Kitbull is my favorite Pixar short. It’s written and directed by Rosana Sullivan @rosiesullivan83 and produced by Kathryn Hendrickson and is a story set in the Mission District in San Francisco and is about a stray black kitten and an abused pit bull and their unlikely friendship. Being from and living in the Bay Area and seeing a POC as the women giving them a loving home in the end really made me feel connected and felt represented in multiple ways watching it. I have helped save animals all of my life and all of my pets have been rescued from the street or given when they had no place to go. Also, black cats are my favorite! Another reason I love it is it’s drawn in a traditional 2d animation (every frame is hand drawn and hand painted). If you haven’t watched it, please do.
