At the top, a sauce of pomegranates, raisins and spices, inspired by one in al-Warraq. Bottom centre, a turnip dish, also from al-Warraq, garnished with pomegranate seeds. Bottom right, a green sauce, again from al-Warraq, and very similar to European ones. And at top right a dessert plate of dates, lokum and dried figs.
