When Sanghyun talked to his younger sister last time, he noticed how different she was from the way Dayoung shared her piece of thought with him. There used to be jokes between the long phone call, her enthusiasm to meet him when Sanghyun agreed to spend the day off with his family. But recently, it was hard to meet her in person. There were always excuses where she spent the whole day outside studying or spending time in a study group with her friends. Things were getting odd when she was not even home during the weekend and went out 'to study' according to his mother's information. Sanghyun confronted her once about the issue, aside from the serious discussion of her future aspiration to become a designer. As if that talk never happened, Dayoung showed a sudden disinterest on the topic and shifted the conversation to something else. He grew some suspicious because all the years he had known her Dayoung had never been this out of control. Taking good care of her was the only thing he could do to pay back the support his parents had provided after Sanghyun lost a family that used to be his.ย
Whatever the distraction was, Sanghyun was going to find out about it.
Which, after long observation and hearsay from a trusted source, Sanghyun's head boiled to hear there was a guy Dayoung had been attached to. And that person was right before his eyes. What made it worse, Sanghyun knew the guy. They were barely friends, merely acquaintances who met by chance for working in the same industry. Sanghyun heard rumors about him but never thought that he would be so close having his sister involved in between. The beat of the music blaring in the background filled his head with rhythms that were in tune with his heartbeats. The party was just started but Sanghyun wanted to end it all.
