Covent Garden her yaşta öğrencimizin keyifle dolaştığı bir mekandır Londra'da. 17. yüzyıl mimarı Inigo Jones, bu canlı meydanı, Kuzey Italya'da bulunan Livorno'dan esinlenerek planladı ve 1833 yılında Charles Fowler Piazza'nın üstünü kapatarak meyve - sebze satış mekanı olarak hayata geçirdi. Günümüzdeki cam - çelik konstrüksiyona o dönemlerde "tren garı" eleştirileri yapılsa da o günden bugüne popülaritesi hiç eksilmedi.
