Random question: what is your favorite mythological creature?
Oh dear, I always dread this question because I really love mythology, but I have the worst time picking a favorite!!
I really love Griffons, and Phoenixes are pretty cool! I very much love Fae- pixies, dryads, and the like. Unicorns are neat of course.
I've been super into Banshees and Wraiths for DnD reasons lately. And I mean, dragons are ALWAYS cool; though I like the Eastern depictions better.
There's so many others too, but these were the ones that came to mind first. So you see my problem, 'nonny. :'D I guess it would depend on the context?

I already have a character heavily associated with Chrysanthemums!! It’s Sabrin- for various reasons that will eventually be shown lmao
Incidentally I have a chrysanthemum tattoo because of him!
It’s also one of my favorites ;v;

What if you did something like Dice Bags? Or DnD related? That’s super popular lately, and I know you’re a big fan of CR, so…
I’ve definitely been thinking DnD related, because it’s still within my “brand” so to speak. I know there’s a million class-related things out there, but no one ever seems to mind more? Again, it’s just coming up with something simple, but recognizable, enough for merch designs. Which... I’ll get there, it’s just not a strength of mine.
I want to do some stuff related to my campaign adventures, but not being a big name artist I don’t know how many people care enough? (I’m already selling prints/stickers of Scylla and Phaedra so like, I’ll do it anyway, but profits and all that)
I don’t do a whole lot of fanart, so it’s just trying to find that balance between recognizable and personal work.

enamel pins are still pretty trendy at the moment! But It’s always fun to see merch that I don’t see at every table like dice bags and candles and things like that?
I definitely want to do some enamel pins, if only because I love them and want more! I want to figure out a design that’s catchy enough to be recognizable to most people, without jumping too off-brand for me? I’m struggling with simplifying something that’s not super specific, since I’m not really a well known artist. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Yet.
I’d like to do a personal zine sometime, too, although I know those are gaining in popularity too. Hmm...

Have you thought about anything involving sewing, since you’re so proficient at it? Like scarves, custom broaches, etc.? I would not suggest anything that takes a lot of time to make, so you’re not stressing out too much, however
I haaaave, but most times I’ve thought about sewing, it’s been for a different audience. My forte is in costumes, and I’ve considered building a stock for say, the Ren Faire circuit, but it’s less suited to the Comic Con circuits.
When it comes to scarves and things, I’d be limited by using pre-manufactured fabrics, or having to design and order my own, and while I have absolutely nothing against crafting folk that do that, it’s never really felt like my thing.
I do really want to find a way to incorporate my art and sewing into one another, but I have a hard time figuring out how to do that on a convention-viable scale? Patches maybe?? But of what?
I’m not a plush maker, and I suppose I could make accessories, but again, it feels weird having it juxtaposed with my illustration work? Maybe I’m just overthinking it.

They got it in! Pretty sure near everyone injured themselves mildly, but it's here
It needs a serious cleaning, so it's covered in blankets until then, but it was cheap

i’m already worried
You probably should be, we have no one to keep us in check now
