Question

What would happen if clover got turn into a fox monster/kitsune

Would Ceroba adopt them and tell everyone that her new son.

Damn, it would save Clover so much trouble if they were turned into a monster…

You got my brain turning hold on this is a bit of a long/ rambly one!

When it comes to Clover and they're soul/ power, I think they're trait would manifest as yellow magic. They'd be able to do both yellow attacks (the kind Undyne uses) and turn another's soul yellow. Clover would also become a boss monster as their body is already used to the amount of determination they had as a human.

As for Ceroba... I don't think she would officially adopt them even if they were the same flavor of monster.

The two would have a 'Dad's girlfriend turned stepmom turned second mom' arc of a relationship as opposed to having that immediate dynamic. She is very loyal and would love Clover fiercely once it's built up, but I don't think they'd be there yet as of Clover becoming a monster. They would get there more quickly than usual through since she would be a rock of stability in their life given their now shared species and Clover's other guardians/ role models being on the more chaotic side.

I don't think official adoption would be necessary though since kids are allowed to run around unsupervised all the time (I'm looking at you MK) and the citizens of The Dunes/ Wild East would already be in the know, having met Clover beforehand. Any officials would assume they're related because they're the only two foxes in town, and they wouldn't refute it because it's convenient that way.

Werefox part 7 final part

This was the first animation that I had ever done when I originally made this so that's why it's kind of bad, I've improved somewhat since then.

As kits, monsters with tails often are unaware of their tails until it's too late. As a human who became a kit, Clover tends to forget his tail exists a lot more frequently than most monsters. (In this AU the reason why Ceroba doesn't have a tail is because she lost it in one such accident)

Part 3 of the Determination injection ending. This is kind of the "good ending" but there are various bits and pieces from the other ending which I will start posting later that might be seen as for the best.

Also, this is where I started to base Clovfur on the mechanics I created for my half-human oc. Since I don't want this to be entirely about them I'll give you the abridged version: The Human is mortally wounded, the monster has fallen down because she lost her family, the human is a child, Gaster gets an idea. Combines their souls, and saves both of them. Half-human can shift between human and monster form.

It turns out that monsters can resist heat through magic resistance. Unfortunately as a half human, Clover is only half resistant to heat and the fur isn't doing him any favors here.
