JUST A LITTLE MESSAGE FROM ME

Please skip if you don’t want to read about some personal stuff.

I do art, yes, I do art. But I don’t get paid much anymore, barely earn minimum wage, because why? IMVU resellers are gone, I don’t use credits either. So when I charge high amounts of credits, I’m trying to discourage paying me with credits and encourage paying with money. 30k (30$ from imvu) versus 8 dollars through PayPal. PayPal is actually EASY to set up. They have a lot of annoying security procedures, yes. But it’s all better than paying me in credits where I don’t even use them. I prefer PayPal because I’m someone who can’t get a job yet and since my family has horrid finance issues and unpaid debts, whenever my parents are broke I’m their emergency bank. They literally keep their eyes on me and beg me for money. “Can I borrow 50$?” “Can I borrow 20$?” My family is pretty much this in a nutshell; If there’s no money, then everything goes wrong. Yes, I’m aware I don’t have to put up with this shit. Yes, I’m aware I should leave. But until I am able to and am legal to, I have to sit through the storm. I love my parents. They’re horrid parents(But who isn’t at some point? Who teaches people to parent anyway?) and have their flaws. I’m looking past their flaws and helping them out the best I could. I don’t even have the heart to say no when they need the money to eat. As an artist, we barely earn much. Sure, if we’re lucky we might get tips or a huge order payment, but luck doesn’t strike twice. We’re literally starting off working for nothing. We improve over time, and so our prices go up. What you are paying for is something that is the result of our time, energy, effort and practice, not just the art. You will get what’s your money’s worth. If you don’t think it’s worth your money, you’re welcome to look elsewhere.

Don’t be that one client that sounds like they came from http://clientsfromhell.net/ . Just don’t. If you do, don’t be surprised if you become a recurring joke, because well, that’s what will happen. You will be remembered but not positively. We’re all people. We don’t think we’re better or higher or mightier than you.We don’t do certain things because it’s against our moral codes. We all have the freedom to choose, to decide. We’re not trying to mooch you out of money or be greedy. Some of us are just having it hard and are trying to find a way out.

My photos from AniManGaki 2015 in Malaysia. I’m not photogenic, my makeup is a bit of a wreck, it was hot, my wig was fluffy and slightly tangled, I need to fix my teeth, but I feel proud of myself for once since this is the first few photos of my cosplay.
