Nostalgic - by Ariff Razalin I know Aries folks aren't fans of looking to the past. However, if there's a word that might describe me the best, that word is "Nostalgic". It has been like that my entire life, but I acknowledge Nostalgia grew stronger as an adult. Not sure if being a writer has something to do. Giving a lot of value to memories, documenting them on paper or on camera, letting them speak for themselves when spoken words might fail... I don't feel comfortable looking back. I prefer to work on building new memories... But it's hard to ignore the value of the paths behind... -KJ
Vivo en El Trópico (Sep. 2013) - by KitsuneJey Walking under the rain wearing a raincoat and an umbrella, sheltering anywhere that could be an observation post. That's my afternoon today. Every time I stop, I think, I remember, and I dream... I got a smartphone instead of a notebook, and my fingers do the writing in silence... Suddenly, I think of Totoro and the Catbus. I think of Japan. I think of the Midwest and Asia. My mind is a cup of tea far from being empty. Drops of water fall on the screen, activating menus and commands... My surrounding reality interacts with the digital frontier for a second. A heart yearns for overcoming limitations and frontiers. The rain stops. No trace of Totoro or the Catbus. I'm a kid that must keep walking. -KJ
