Things are weird again. The Kiterations are alternately closing ranks and scattering to the wind in the same way they at the end of our old job when the system was in major flux. My main theory is that adjusting to a new job while dealing with familiar (but severe) stress is keeping things pretty fucky.
The main result of that seems to be another old-timer coming out of dormancy? She adjusted to reality pretty quickly, but her memory pool pretty much ends with junior year of college. She has -very- distinct memories of one music class we took that term, though.
From what I can tell, she’s an introject of Kaylee Frye (Firefly) who showed up in 2008 or so. She also might have been a subtle internal factor in the Sorry episodes? Mostly, though, she might be on-par with Buffy as a vestige of what/whoever the hell Brooke was.
Mostly, her presence and passive influence explains how we get weirdly clocked as a southerner even when Riley “y’all’d’ve” Strider is nowhere near the front.
